It is nearly 2 years since it was suggested we contact Waverley Helpmates to see if they could help us manage our garden.
Help us, they certainly have and mowing our grass each fortnight has made such a difference.
We have got to know Edward and we appreciate the good job he does.
We also appreciate the work done by all staff who manage this inspiring programme.

My husband and I were unable to maintain our garden after his diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. We were referred to Waverley Helpmates and have been associated for over 2 years. We have had David mowing our lawns and generally tidying the garden on a fortnightly basis. The pride and enthusiasm shown in his task at hand is overwhelming. Our garden looks so "loved" after his visit that our social calendar is organised to coincide with these dates!
As a client of Waverley Helpmates, we are regularly updated with newsletters of dates of operation and upcoming events - one of which is the Christmas party. David is our host on the day and he ensures we are supplied with the delicious homemade treats. This is a wonderful way to get into the true spirit of Christmas .
